Operations temporarily closed due to Fire damage
As reported on October 14, 2013, by local media outlets, "A fire that caused an estimated $1 million worth of damages at a Northeast Richland shopping center was intentionally set. The fire started inside a self-storage business, located in the center of the complex, according to Richalnd County Fire Marshal's Office. BarryBasics has had a climate controlled storage unit at the reported location for several years. The final assessment of damage to apparel and supplies has not been determined. Notification of business operations will be announced as soon as possible.
